Middle School

3rd through 8th Grade: Building academic excellence, independent thinking, and spiritual growth as students prepare for high school and beyond.

Preparing Minds for Tomorrow

As students progress through our 3rd to 8th grade program, we build on the foundations from the early grades. Our goal is to prepare them for high school by challenging them academically, encouraging independent thought, and nurturing their spiritual development in a Christ-centered community.

Comprehensive Core Academics

Our curriculum for these grades is designed to be comprehensive and rigorous, building on foundational skills with deeper understanding and critical thinking

Saxon Math

We continue to build mathematical fluency and problem-solving skills with this advanced program. Students develop deeper conceptual understanding and the ability to apply mathematical thinking to complex, real-world problems.

Wordly Wise & Words Their Way

These programs expand students' vocabularies and deepen their understanding of word patterns, which is critical for strong reading comprehension and writing. Students develop sophisticated language skills that support success across all academic subjects.

Nancy Larson Science

We continue to use this program to explore more complex scientific concepts through engaging experiments and activities. Students develop scientific reasoning and learn to think critically about the natural world.

Social Studies & Geography

We expand students' perspectives with a deeper dive into social studies and geography, helping them understand the world and its history. Students develop global awareness and learn to think critically about complex social issues.

Advanced Skill Development

We continue to sharpen critical skills while emphasizing independent learning and application

Academic Excellence

Students continue to develop their handwriting and reading abilities to support a growing academic workload. We emphasize strong writing skills across all subjects and develop study habits that prepare students for high school success.

Project-Based Learning

Our Project-Based Learning continues to be a cornerstone of our program. These projects provide a hands-on way for students to apply their knowledge and develop a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of the subjects. Students learn to think critically and solve problems creatively.

Well-Rounded Education

Every student participates in specialty classes designed to provide a comprehensive education

Music

Our music program encourages creativity and expression while teaching students about rhythm, melody, and performance. Students develop musical skills and confidence through singing and instrumental exploration.

Physical Education

We promote a healthy and active lifestyle through physical education, helping students develop gross motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. PE classes emphasize both fitness and fun.

Technology Class

Students learn essential skills for the digital age in our technology classes. We emphasize responsible and creative use of technology as a learning tool.

S.T.E.M. & Project-Based Learning
